Since 2022, as a signatory to the UN Global Compact, Responsible Alpha has been committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption. S&P Global Sustainable Finance Scientific Council
Responsible Alpha is a member of the S&P Global Sustainable Finance Scientific Council. The Council brings together leading experts from academia, sustainability and finance, as well as major corporates and investors. Recent Council publications include:

Principles for Responsible Investment
Responsible Alpha is a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). As an active member of PRI, Responsible Alpha participates in the:

Nature-related disclosures
TNFD
Responsible Alpha is a signatory to the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). The TNFD has developed a set of disclosure recommendations and guidance that encourage and enable businesses to assess, report and act on their nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities.


Ecological science
Ecological Society of America
Responsible Alpha is an active member of the Ecological Society of America (ESA). ESA is the largest professional organization of ecological scientists in the U.S, founded in 1915, with over 9,000 professional ecologists globally as members.
Responsible Alpha participates in ESA’s industry working group and holds special sessions on the intersection between business strategy and nature at ESA’s annual meetings.
Responsible Alpha’s ESA events include industry leaders in Bloomberg, PRI, GFANZ, and Green Century Capital Management.
Net zero finance
GFANZ
Responsible Alpha is an active member of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ), a global coalition of leading financial institutions committed to accelerating the decarbonization of the economy. Responsible Alpha has also been highlighted in GFANZ’s publications, including Case Studies on Transition Finance and Decarbonization Contribution Methodologies, which can be read here. Responsible Alpha is a member of the following GFANZ working groups:

Impact & Sustainable Finance Faculty Consortium
Responsible Alpha is an active member of the Impact & Sustainable Finance Faculty Consortium at Kellogg, Northwestern University. With more than 250 member universities represented by more than 600 professors and lecturers globally, members share case studies, syllabi, and best practices used in executive, graduate, and undergraduate education.
Mission and profit
B Corp
Responsible Alpha is a certified B Corp as a for-profit corporation that is driven by both mission and profit. In this legal structure, which is recognized by most U.S. states, shareholders hold the company accountable to produce a financial profit as well as some sort of public benefit. Responsible Alpha’s B Impact assessment earned an overall score of 115.1, which is above the qualification threshold score of 80, while the median score for ordinary businesses who complete the assessment is currently 50.9. People and inequality
TISFD
Responsible Alpha is an active member of the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-Related Financial Disclosures (TISFD), a global initiative to develop recommendations and guidance for businesses and financial institutions to understand and report on impacts, dependencies, risks, and opportunities related to people. The aim of the Taskforce is to incentivize business and financial practices that create stronger, more resilient societies and economies.

Green Latinos
Responsible Alpha is an active member of Green Latinos, which convenes a community of environmental, conservation, and community leaders to uplift Latino communities in the U.S.
